AFP's story began in 2006 inside Contrôle Analytique, a gas chromatography analyzer manufacturer. To guarantee purity and accuracy, we had to develop our own high-performance GC valves.
Our story
Solving leaks and contamination, for the whole industry.
In 2008 we divested the GC systems business, rebranded as AFP and focused entirely on high-quality valves that solved the industry-wide problems of leaking and contamination.
In 2016 AFP joined APN Global, adding deep precision-machining capability and manufacturing scale. Today we are a single-source partner with the accountability and expertise that save OEMs time and mitigate risk.
In November 2022 APN Global, including AFP, was acquired by Schivo, headquartered in Waterford, Ireland. Our 60,000 square foot Quebec facility is now the Schivo Group's manufacturing centre of excellence, with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and FDA registered sites supporting customers across North America, Europe and Asia.
