2006
Founded inside Contrôle Analytique, a GC analyzer manufacturer that needed better valves.
2008
GC systems business divested; rebranded as AFP to focus on high-quality valves.

Backed by a global medtech manufacturer.
In November 2022, Waterford, Ireland based Schivo acquired APN Global, home of AFP. Our Quebec facility became the Schivo Group's manufacturing centre of excellence, combining AFP valve technology with Schivo's micromachining, 5-axis milling, laser cutting, welding and cleanroom assembly for medical device and life science customers.
The result for OEMs: one partner able to engineer, prototype, qualify and ramp production across multiple global facilities.
